Making Rollerbottle Blends!

IMG_7183 copy-3

Blends are my favorite. Especially when I find a combo of oils that work and I want a quick solution to keep in my purse!

Plus they are SOOOOO simple. Geez, let's make one already!

?Step 1) ALWAYS start with drops of essential oils
?Step 2) After you put in the drops of essential oils, “top it off” with a carrier oil like olive oil, almond oil, or fractionated coconut oil!

Make sense? Now onto the recipes!

HUGE list of Diffuser Combos  https://bit.ly/2JHglpa

WHERE TO BUY DIFFUSERS:
You can get them from doTERRA for $40 - $100 (use about 3-4 drops per 100ml) www.doterra.com
You can get them from Amazon for $20-$80, but they aren't usually as high quality as doTERRAs. (Never buy doTERRA oils from Amazon, these aren't from doTERRA they are from re-sellers and you never know what you'll get)

DIFFUSER CARE
I'm more of an "every couple months" diffuser cleaner, but your Diffusers will last longer if you take better care of them!

Standard diffuser recipes run roughly:
? 500 ml 15-20 drops total
? 300 ml 10-15 drops total
? 100 ml 3-6 drops

These will vary depending on the potency of your oils. For example Lemongrass and Cassia are very strong smelling oils so you can use less. Start with the smaller number of drops and add more if you prefer.

?LAUNDRY

GET YOURSELF SOME DRYER BALLS: I'm telling you real-wool dryer balls are the non-toxic way to soften your fabrics, remove static cling, & make your laundry smell amazing! Throw a few drops of Lavender or Lemon on those babies before you throw them in. Your family will thank you.

 STINKY LAUNDRY
If you (or your kids) have left a load of laundry overnight in the washer, throw in 10 drops of Melaleuca and run on the rinse cycle. All will be well again.

What about cooking or baking with essential oils?

1.   Always keep your essential oils in a dark glass container, away from heat, light, and humid conditions. You can also store them in the refrigerator if necessary.

2.   Use a glass or ceramic bowl when mixing ingredients that contain essential oils. The essential oil may ruin certain types of plastic.

3.   Don’t leave the cap off the bottle.

4.   Essential oils have a much longer shelf-life than dried herbs or spices. While oils may be more costly in the initial stages, over the long haul they will prove to be more cost-effective.

5.   Because all essential oils tend to have different viscosity levels, don’t drop the oil directly into your mixture.  Drop the required amount on a spoon and then into your mixture to ensure you have the proper amount.

6.  A little goes a long way. Add one drop, stir, and taste. Repeat until you’ve reached your desired result.

7.    Try to avoid touching the insert with your fingers as your natural oils may affect the oil composition.

8.   If you are baking with kids, be sure to keep the oils out of reach. Essential oils are highly concentrated and should always be used with caution.
